When your spouse is resurrected, they're only a copy of the original -- and not the original.
Also, according to JW belief, resurrected persons will not be able to marry in the New Order. They will remain unmarried (and, I assume, celibate -- since fornication would bring about sudden divine judgment). So apparently the resurrected ones won't even have the desire to have sex or marry again (in the JW fantasy New World). That person will view you like a sibling, and will not desire you.
Meanwhile, before Armageddon came you married another Stepford spouse -- and you both served Jehoober and survived into the New Order -- and you're free to have lots of , um, well -- "romance" with your Stepford partner until the earth fills up with people.
Gopher -- of the "taking things to their illogical conclusion" class
This is one of the more messed up beliefs of JWs. When a spouse dies and a JW widow(er) is greiving, other JWs "comfort" them by saying, 'you'll see them in the New Order!'
Yeah? How 'comforting' is that really? You get to see your spouse who is no longer your spouse, has no desire to be a traditional spouse, and who is celibate but you, on the other hand, still want to be with them.
And like Gopher said, they'll only be a copy of the original.
Just chalk it up to yet another delusional belief by a whacked out cult.
